The village of Megalopotami (= "large river") is located on the western slope of the Tsouka volcano and overlooks the Gulf of Epidaurus. The orange D hiking trail also goes up to the chapel of Agios Joannis, which probably stands on the site of a former, ancient sanctuary. The village can be reached from Megalochori via a narrow street.
