The hilltop "A" lava dome
The little hilltop lava dome "A" is situated in a pittoresque vineyard and it has got the typical fallen in crater on its top. It is probably the top of an bigger lava dome that was covered by younger volcanics (?). At the southern slope there are ancient farming tools, like a vine press. The volcano is the southern part of the Stavrolongos caldera.
