Chounta Kokkini volcano

The volcano Chounta Kokkini extends west of the village Kypseli and belongs to the oldest volcanoes Methanas. In the valley west of the volcano there is an ancient building that is a temple or stately building of ancient (geometric?) Time. The volcano is smoothed by erosion and so there are only indirect signs where the summit was (now about 491 m, formerly 100-200 m higher ...).
