Choni volcano

The volcano Choni (Albanian "Vera Uikut") is one of the northern marginal volcanoes in the mountain Methana. The volcano towers over the elongated Makrylongos Plateau at the western end. The lava dome has on its top the typical shape of pseudo-craters, that are created when no new magma is transported to the lava dome.
