Sfagia sulfur thermal springs

The medicinal, sulphurous Sfagia springs are located at the entrance to the city of Methana. They are open all year round. You can always bathe there free of charge, as long as the water temperatures allow it. It is the same healing water that is also used in the unfortunately closed spas. Everything is on the fault zone that runs through the spa town. Sea water seeps into these cracks and hits the cooling magma chamber of one of the methana volcanoes at a depth of approx. 1-2 km. The Mofetta Thiafi are located also on this fault line.
