A romantic idea for baths
At the east end of Methana town there is a little pool at the coast in which warm thermal water invites you for an romantic bath in full moon. The waters are rich in salt, chlorine gas and radon gas, so it is recommended not to stay longer than 30 minutes. There is no real danger of the gases as you are outside and there is a good air circulation. The temperatures range between 30-39 C depending on the sea level and the magmatic activity in the underground. Some times it may be totally empty or filled with pebble or sand. The use is still free of charge.
