The Malisa volcano in the mountains of Methana
The volcano Malisa 2 in the mountain area of Methana has formed a lava flow that reaches to the port Vathy. It is one of the typical lava domes, although it does not look so impressive from the mountain area. Its name "Malisa" is not very helpful because in Albanian it means simply "hill". The name appears in several places on Methana.
