The volcanic massif Malisa
The volcano Malisa at Kounoupitsa is one of the oldest and largest volcanoes in Methana. Its lava flows have covered one-eighth of north Methana. There are at least two outbreak centers. One at 680 m and one at 470 m. Whether one can speak of two volcanoes, would have to show the age determinations. But actually it does not matter, because all volcanoes Methanas are probably fed from one to five magma chambers in different depths.
