The lavadome Pikesa
The lava dome of Pikesa is one of the impressive northern margins of the Methana volcanoes that characterize the volcanic landscape of the entire peninsula. Fields have been planted in the highest areas and so one can only hope, that in the future all volcanoes of Methana will be accessible by hiking trails. At the moment it is still a great adventure to climb the volcano. Everywhere thick bushes and rocky cliffs blocked the way up.
